Carex viridula

A small Carex that I know from wet meadows in New Mexico. It also occurs in Indiana.

An inflorescence above Bluff Springs in the Sacramento Mts., NM, 7/4/05., with a staminate spike above two pistillate spikes. Some plants in the area had a terminal gynecandrous spike rather than a terminal staminate spike.
