Nemophila aphylla
A.K.A. Nemophila microcalyx, N. triloba. A small-flowered, low-growing
polemoniacid found throughout the southeastern United States. It does not occur in Indiana,
getting only as close as extreme western Kentucky. It is readily recognized by the small
appendages alternating with the sepals.
