Holy Ghost Canyon is a nice, open canyon on the east side of the Sangre de Christo Mountains. It is the only native home of the holy ghost ipomopsis, Ipomopsis sancti-spiritus. If you want to see the holy ghost ipomopsis, though, it may help to think ahead somewhat more than I did, and find out where exactly in the canyon it is located...
