Commicarpus scandens (L.) Standl.

A large, sprawling, Boerhavia-like species found from southeastern Arizona to western & far southern Texas. The obscurely ten-ribbed fruits readily distinguish this from the clearly five-ribbed Boerhavia. In New Mexico it is quite uncommon.
