Ipomoea cardiophylla

A plant of moist arroyos & canyons. Distinguished from other Ipomoea most readily by the warty-papillose sepals and inflated, similarly papillose pedicels. Moderately widespread but uncommon throughout much of its range--except perhaps in wet years.
