Juncus arcticus Willd.
A rush found throughout most of the United States, except in the southeast. In the
southwestern U.S., this is a species of moist open ground along creeks &c. in areas of coniferous
forest. In New Mexico, this is one of our few rushes with many-flowered, lateral-seeming
inflorescences.
