Laënnecia schiedeana
A plant of higher elevation meadow openings and the like, similar to the genus
Conyza. This species is very similar to Laënnecia coulteri, which is
usually present at lower altitudes and does not have strap-shaped corolla laminae on the
pistillate ("ray") flowers, while L. schiedeana does, though they are small and
inconspicuous.
