Mirabilis pratensis
One of the taxa in the albida species complex, most easily identifiable by the lighter,
silvery
abaxial leaf surfaces. IDed by Rich Spellenberg; Rich doesn't recognize it as distinct in
the Flora of North America, but I'm listing it here anyways since he says it's pretty clearly
recognizable and geographically coherent... and it lets me list a new species.
An inflorescence in the Mangas Mts., 8/27/05.
Cauline leaves in the Mangas Mts., 8/27/05.
Plant habit in the Mangas Mts., 8/27/05.
