Phaseolus acutifolius

An annual twining plant with variably-shaped leaves, common in canyons in wet years.

A pink flower at Aguirre Springs on the northeast side of the Organ Mts., 17 Sep 2006. This is the usual coloration.



A white flower in lower Filmore Canyon, on the west side of the Organ Mts., 7 Sep 2006. I've seen this coloration in a few populations in the Organ Mts., but it is not common.
