Tamarix ramosissima
An invasive tree from Eurasia, prolific along streams. There are several species
occurring in the southwest that are only marginally distinct and frequently confused with
each other. The southwestern Tamarix are most often referred to as Tamarix
ramosissima, so this is the name I use.
