McBride's Bluff, on the north side of the White River northeast of Shoals, is private land on
which, at least when I was there, public access is allowed. I visited with Mark Dauble on the 20th of
June, 2004. The area has some very nice forest as well as excellent sandstone bluffs. As far as I
know, this is the only area in Indiana from which the fern Cheilanthes lanosa is reported.
I've got more pictures somewhere that I need to process.
