Poa fendleriana (Steud.) Vasey
Possibly the most common spring-flowering grass in northwestern New Mexico, also common
at higher elevations throughout the rest of the state. The uppermost leaf on flowering culm
s has no blade, which helps distinguish this from the other Poa.
